Description :
The street `Rusland', named after `Ruysch-land' a merchant who owned the land in the 15th century, is the site of the Radisson SAS Hotel Amsterdam *****. Over the years, the houses and buildings have had many different occupants, ranging from a hotel (in the 18th century), a paper company, monastery, church and vicarage.
The hotel has integrated the `old' with the `new' on both the outside and the inside.
